Expanding Black Sabbath's vision of heavy riffs and foreboding atmosphere, Pagan Altar made it their own by weaving in British folk mysticism, storytelling, and folklore. While most early NWOBHM bands chased speed and aggression, Pagan Altar — like contemporaries Witchfinder General — embraced a slower, darker path.

This is the 2nd pressing, limited to 200 copies. Features an amazing 4-panel J-card designed by noted Canadian heavy metal musician, author, graphic artist, label owner, and fest organizer Annick Giroux, plus an intro by Smoulder vocalist, heavy metal journalist, and vlogger Sarah Kitteringham.
