Treacherous Ways is the debut album from the collaborative powerhouse of US True Metal torch-bearer Alex Sciortino and Raven's John Gallagher and Mike Heller, fusing US True Metal with genuine NWOBHM and Teutonic Speed Metal sensibilities. A true testament to the power of classic heavy metal.

"Some highlights (and there are many) — opener 'Fire Rain' is a ripper, a tale of impending doom and epic resolve in battle set to a ferocious tempo, killer harmonies and a grand opportunity for a crowd sing-along. 'Mountain of the Scorpion' is perhaps the album's most impressive song, a huge epic that features some complex riffing, huge chorus and some serious fretboard fireworks from Paul Di'Anno's Killers guitarist (and Alex's uncle/guitar teacher) Ray DeTone. 'Medusa's Requiem' is another highlight that shifts between bucolic interludes straight out of Mordor and rabid riffing. The title track 'Treacherous Ways' and 'Fight or Flight' also get high marks for their punchy, snarling and no-nonsense approach, maybe the most NWOBHM-esque of all the tracks. 'The Keep' is an epic, thrash-adjacent classic metal track — the album's standing-at-the-battlements, defending-the-fortress moment, with galloping rhythms, aggressive riffs and the speed of a nitro-fueled battering ram." — Chris Barnes, Hellride Music.com
